ECS Quiz 2024 a resounding success!

Our Fundraising Quiz Night held on the 3rd February 2024 at Haven Green Baptist Church raised over £1500 to support the activities of the choir. Thanks to meticulous management by our Social Secretary Adrian Burbanks and the social team, a very enjoyable evening was had by all 114 participants in 14 teams. Our expert Quizmaster Colin Richards put everyone through their paces with a  wide range of testing questions from Science to Sport in 8 live rounds, plus an entertaining table round.

The winners of the live rounds and overall quiz were the Waldergrave Warriors, including bass Andrew Lumsden. They will have possession of the trophy until next year’s quiz!

The table round was won by Faithful Friends, including soprano Janeen Quentin and Associates Judy Berka and Tony Quentin.

A first for ECS this year was playing Rock-Paper-Scissors as an interval game, with a room full of people!
