Joint Concert with Choeur Nancy Ducale
25 June 2011, 8:30 pm
Temple Protestant Church
Note: this event has passed.

If you are in the Lorraine region of France on the 25th June 2011, or fancy popping over for the occasion, come and hear us sing at the Temple Protestant Church in Nancy . The choir is on tour in Nancy from the 23rd to the 26th June (visiting vineyards and sampling wine amongst other cultural things!) and singing with Choeur Nancy Ducale on the evening of the 25th June.
We have chosen the thistle as our concert image. Why? Well, the area has seen much fighting throughout its 3,000 year history and has the gritty motto “Non inultus premor” – “I cannot be touched with impunity” – a reference to the thistle, the symbol of Lorraine and part of the Nancy coat of arms.
Bit like the Scots “Don’t mess with me pal!”.
