Handel Messiah
19 March 2022, 7:00 pm
St Barnabas Church
Note: this event has passed.
Ealing Choral Society is delighted to present Handel’s much-loved oratorio Messiah this Eastertide. In keeping with the season, we will be performing Parts II and III, telling the story of Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection.
We are joined by a line-up of outstanding soloists together with the Van Swieten Band, made up of London’s best period-instrument players.
Covid-19 considerations
The audience will be seated in family/friendship groups distanced from other groups or individuals. In order to facilitate this COVID-safe method of seating, we ask that groups arrive together to be seated together, to make efficient use of the seating space. DOORS OPEN AT 6:15pm.
There will be no reserved seating.
All audience members as well as Front of House helpers will be required to wear masks inside the Church (unless an age, health or disability reason exempts you from wearing one). This is a mandatory requirement at St Barnabas Church.
All those singing in the concert will be asked to take a lateral flow test in the 24 hours prior to the concert day and only take part if they have a negative result and have no symptoms of COVID-19.
The concert will last approximately one hour fifteen minutes, WITHOUT any interval for refreshments.
