Note: this event has passed.
The theme for this concert is ‘British Choral Classics’, including some of Britain’s best-loved and well-known classics.
On the bill are the firm favourites Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus and Zadok the Priest, anthems which stir the spirit.
Also included is Stainer’s God So Loved the World with its evocative melody.
Rounding off the patriotic offerings are Arne’s Rule Britannia and Parry’s Jerusalem, always a crowd favourite, alongside the modern classics Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs.
