We are taking the music from our June concert in Ealing on tour to Wimborne Minster in Dorset!

The repertoire is a musical journey around the British Isles. Celebrating the living, breathing heritage of British song throughout the ages, this concert features music by British composers and songwriters. From simple folk songs to works in a grander style, to the musical genius of beloved British pop bands, this summer concert will explore and celebrate the song traditions of this green and pleasant land.

For the tour, we have also added pieces by Stanford and Haydn (who, although not British, was influenced to compose The Creation after his visit to Britain where he heard Handel’s oratorios).
